Have you ever wondered how playing an instrument is like playing a sport?  How being part of an orchestra is like being on a team?  And what about the conductor?  Is he really the coach?  In this concert, our star players, the musicians of the San Diego Symphony, will be featured as we show you the similarities between symphonic music and sports.

• Absolute quiet during performance is the audience's critical role in a successful music concert. To maintain the greatest courtesy to your fellow concertgoers, please use maximum care in disabling all noisemaking devices in the performance chamber, including cell phones, pagers and malfunctioning hearing assistance devices.
